Associate Manager - Passenger Process (Gurugram, India)
Position Overview:
Join our team as an Associate Manager - Passenger Process in Gurugram, where you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and compliant revenue accounting for passenger sales and interline transactions. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting Excellence:
Oversee end-to-end passenger revenue accounting, including ticket sales, refunds, exchanges, and interline billings.
Ensure timely preparation of financial reports related to passenger revenue.
Analyze revenue data, identifying anomalies and mitigating revenue leakage.
Collaborate with finance teams to align on revenue reporting objectives.
Liaise with statutory/internal auditors and monitor IFC on ARA processing.
Risk Management Oversight:
Identify and mitigate risks associated with passenger revenue accounting processes.
Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Continuously monitor the effectiveness of control measures.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and mentor a team of revenue accounting professionals.
Work collaboratively with team members to maximize performance.
Supervise BPO teams handling ARA processing.
Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment:
Ensure effective communication between revenue accounting and passenger operations teams.
Address concerns and resolve issues related to passenger revenue processes.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote transparency.
Process Optimization & Efficiency:
Identify opportunities to automate and optimize revenue accounting processes.
Streamline workflows and reduce manual intervention in revenue recognition.
Revenue Accounting Audit & Compliance:
Coordinate internal and external audits related to revenue accounting.
Ensure compliance with airline policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
Address and resolve audit findings related to revenue processes.
Vendor Management & Performance Monitoring:
Establish strong communication with vendors managing revenue accounting.
Conduct regular performance reviews and feedback sessions with vendors.
Ensure vendors comply with airline policies and service-level agreements (SLAs).
Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs.

Regulatory Authorities & Vendors: Ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Educational & Experience Requirements:
Minimum Education Requirements:
Chartered Accountant (CA) / CMA / CS / MBA in Finance or equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree in commerce.
Experience:
Minimum: 5-6 years of experience in revenue accounting, preferably in the aviation or transportation industry.
Desired: 6+ years of experience in revenue accounting with expertise in aviation sector processes.
